Help on mounting my monitor (sort of) in dash.

Here's a couple of pictures of what I have to work with. I'm thinking of fabbing a shroud to cover the monitor and also something to go under it to hide the inside of my dash. I will be leaving the monitor in it's case to reduce the risk of damaging it.

The monitor would be set back further than in the pictures (currently I have to do a bit of plastic removal to even mock that up) to optimize daylight readability and allow the connector to sit in a hole by the side of the air duct. I won't be using the stand shown in the picture.

one bigass monitor lol... thas kinda hard man ive been trying to figure out how to do that... not for my own projector just for the hell of it cuz it seems cool... but i think you have to make a mold or something using fiberglass and then bondo it and sand it down to make it smooth and then somehow flip it oever and slide the screen in... hope that helps? its confusing just think about it like this...

take the screen place it where you want to
then take a piece of cloth and put it over covering eveyrthing including the gap and the monitor.... your supposed to fiberglass over that and when your done it becomnes hard...
then you just pop it off remove the monitor cut the hole out of the glass and i guess mount the monitor with 2 sided tape...

wrap your monitor in ducktape before you do this lol
