Help! Need long flat flex cables.

I am trying to aquire some long flat flex cables for xenarc displays.

I need any flat flex cable with connectors on opposite ends, 40 contacts, a .5mm pitch, and a length of 8" or more. Any of the following Molex part numbers would work great: 21020-0440, 21020-0442, 21020-0444, or 21020-0446.

These part numbers are found in the following document with descriptions:
    http://www.molex.com/cmc_upload/0/00...mm_america.pdf

Unfortunatly I have already tried contacting every Molex distributor listed on thier reseller page and since it is a non-stock item, none of them is willing to deal in anything less then 1000 units.

I am going to be using these for a redisign of the www.digitalwheelz.com screens and I probably won't be able to use more then 50-100 units so ordering 1000 would be prohibitively expensive.

I know this is probably a long shot, but if anyone knows of any other manufacturer of similar parts or a molex distributor willing to deal in smaller quantities or any other way to aquire the cables, it would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try Digi-Key? They have a $75 minimum but usually sell in smaller quantities. Parlex is the manufacturer of the replacement cable I used on a Lilliput if that helps.
