Thanks for the links1 I'm tackling an increasingly complicated project, and need all the help I can get!
After browsing through this section of the forum I've noticed the absence of a professional here and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dan and I run my own composites business. I am currently working on a xenarc install in my s2000 and I'll post some pics when it's done. Anyway's I'd like to point out a couple forums I belong to that can answer most of you fabrication questions if they aren't answered here. http://www.fibreglast.com/phpBB2/ (forum name potterds) and www.icancomposites.com/forum (forum name cfcrafting).

Hi! OMG an engineer with a nice car!!! what happened there - did someone add a '0' to the end of your paycheque by accident...oh wait you are not in the UK (yup i am very bitter and twisted at the way engineers in the UK are paid peanuts and get confused with car mechanics - no disrepect meant to car mechanics - i just think after working as hard as a medic or vet at Uni i deserve the same kind of pay).
I know a bit about normal composites from my car racing/building and i developed a composite bearing/bypass test (aerospace engineering specialising a lot in composites) but i have now moved into nanocomposites (i call regualar stuff macro-composites now!) as hopefully they will offer me a newish field to try and make some money in!
What kind of stuff does your company do?

in Europe yeah, but not in the UK (hehe). In Germany you are referred to as Engineer X and Engineer Y just like a doctor would be.Originally Posted by n8scstm

Wow, that looks amazing. Is it hard working with carbon fibre? (obviosly, I've never work with it)
Any pics of the dash? How did you cover the airbag panel?
Good work on that dash. Personally i can't stand the carbon fibre weave being visable unless it is on a sports car so with an S2000 you're ok
I was in an Enzo the other month and the carbon fibre work in that is unbelievable.
I have a new project for you though - build a carbon fibre retractable hardtop of your S2000 - and then with the money you make from selling them send me one with an S2000 attached- having a hard top is the only way i could ever insure an S2000 as i don't have a garage
