    Dash for GrandPrix GTP

    Finally after a long long time and many hours, I finally finished my dash. First time doing this, learned a lot, learned a lot of what NOT to do, but all in all, turned out alright.

    It looks 'speckly' but that's just the bright flash. It's textured. I didn't want smooth smooth feel to it. I wanted a big of bump and grind to it.

    But you can see the touch screen is gonna look nice in there.

    great job...what a pia to have to take out your whole console to do this!!

    That looks hot...I gotta grand prix too and had to re-mould the dash...except i changed the din and a half to a single din in order to put in my motorized screen...I will post pics as soon as the carputer is installed, hopefully by the end of next week...Can you post pics of the finished thing once it is in the car...

    Actually sadly I never took fab pictures. I was soo tired and dusty and sick of working, i didn't want to touch the camera and just get outta there. lol.

    Tonight I didn't like the kind of 'textured' feel to it, so I redid the paint job and made it more smooth and shinny. I'll post pics when it's installed and done. Thanks guys

    if you want the textured look you can send the piece to leather magic in NC. they did my dash piece and it looks amazing (and stock)

    Looks good, have been surfin posts of grand prix in-dash screens for the past few hours. The plans are forming... just too bad i dont really have money to spend on it.
