whats up yall im redoing my carpc and screen heres what i got in mind...

the screen i got right now is a lili touch vga which is in the dash im going to do a recessed version of it...

i want to remove my headunit and move it a tad bit lower then under that a 7 inch non touch or vga lili then under taht switchs for my lights and stuff in my car... then 2 cup holders gotta have room for the starbucks wen u b drivin ;-) and then begings the carpc which is a ipaq business desktop heres a pic of whta i drew up in paint....

im thinking about using 1/4inch model plywood to mke the sides and of the new console... then fiberglass the top part and cut it out to put all the stuff in and then layer it up with some bondo... and then the lilli would be molded in it not recessed.. headunit would just get a 1 din cutout and slide in switchs would also get a cutout cup holders i got already ill just fab that into it and then the pc will be bondod and fiberglassed into it... inside the console ill have pieces of mdf squares going across holding it together so it wont flex or n e thing...

keep the screen high as its easier to see. but makybe make a slight overhang - it helps a lot with glare.

yeah im going to have 2 screens one ts vga uptop and then just a lilli with normal av inputs bottom just to fill in room basicly i acctuly just started to work on a cardboard mockup so yeah

i wanted to know how would i make the bends with the model ply wood

tools i have are jig saw... router... dremel... palm sander... and a drill so leme know whats up thanks !!!

I would use lots of fiber glass.

yeah imma glass tha top part that way i can just use a dremel to cut out the lillisectuon and all that then bondo the top and the bends the sides r gonna b 1/4 inch model ply cut wit a jig
