Seriously, it depends on the materials involved. My experience is that fiberglass sticks to everything, especially things that it shouldn't.
I guess being a noobie makes me dumb to I have done a lot of reading and searching only to be left scratching my head. People say to fab a monitor in the dash use fiberglass and bondo but then the next thread i read says that fiberglass want stick to plastic. I guess my question is what should be used? Feel free to flame me if needed as long as I can get hold of what is going on. lol

I'm not sure if these people made it clear or not
Fiberglass doesn't stick to anything any more than your sheets stick to your bed, or your clothes stick to your ***.
There are many, many different types of fiberglass RESIN out there, and i believe most of them will stick to plastic if you give it a good bite (sand the crap out of it with like, 80 grit)
Bondo is basically thick, quick drying, sandable fiberglass resin. It's the same basic chemical-y stuff, it's a polyester resin that's not quite polymerized, when you add the catalyst (hardener) it speeds up the chemical reaction so much the bondo can actually get hot.
So, bondo WILL stick to plastic, but it will not WELD to plastic.
Solvent adhesives... why don't more people use them?
Check out that thread for information on things that WILL weld to plastic. Very cool ideas there.
Good luck!
Thanks all i will check out the link and do more research
You can drill small holes in the abs and the resin will drip trough to create rivets.
