French polisher? (yellow pages)
During the fab of molding my lilli into the dash, I put a couple of scratches into the clear coat on my wood paneling. Any tips on how I can repair it and restore the original gloss?
try scratch-x first. dont use a buffer, apply it by hand with a foam applicator. work the product into the scratch till the product is no longer visible. then repeat 2 more times.

other DIY option would be to sand down the area using very, very fine paper - wet sanding to finish it and then use a polyurethane lacquer. (sprays you can get for furniture)
yeah, but try the less agressive methods first. then i'd probably try to just fill the scratch with laquer (use a toothpic to apply it to the scratch) and then try to buff that so it looks smooth. if that doesn't work then go to the sand and refinish that scouse described.
