Hi everyone, I'm struggling to get my dash molded (trying with some wood ATM).
I live far away and that Bondo stuff is not sold over here
I seem to really love it and would like to buy it
Obviously there will be a same product with a different name, so could someone kindly tell me what bondo is?
Polyester putty? Can anyone be so kind to write in the forum what is written on the tube?
Thanks in advance,
Moby

Oh i live in Italy.
Did afor bondo and italy on the forum and got three posts.

Now in all three there is a member from Italy asking the same question, unfortunately no one could actually answer.
However maybe these guys have since found an answer so if you contact them and ask them they may be able to help.
Good luck.
what I am asking is quite simple, just write on this forum whatever technical information is written on a bondo tube (or can), I will then translate it and look for - and buy - a same product over here.
here is a complete list of bondo products, each of them has complete listing of components.
Now I just ask you to point out in the list which one you are using.

Thanks in advance,

Just go to an auto parts store and ask for autobody filler. It's sort of a putty with an epoxy hardner. It doesn't really say what's in it other than resin, talc, fiberglass.
there is one photo per product, can you recognize your container?
What I have is just the lightweight stuff:

But it really depends on what you're doing, like if it needs to be thick/reinforced, you need Bondo-Glass, and very light needs glazing.
thanks that is what i needed to know I need this for the finish, for the bonding part I'll use some epoxy as suggested by Altimat
