    Hey POWDER:

Can you give us the exact measurements for the distance between the attachment points (holes) in the faceplate? I'd like to compare that with my double-din attachments point measurements.
Im talking about the holes where the screws go in the dash.

    thanks!

Probably. Looks like you put an aftermarket unit into a 1.5 DIN slot, and then a faceplate on around it so it looks nice.

    LIke This Dude

I think he means more like the pic in the attachment. This is from an 03' Blazer extreme. I don't think they come with DD came as standart equipment, but there are some out there. I think what I'll do is use a stereo dash kits to create my own peice like this one (except buttonless)

    2-DIN = 4" tall
    1.5-DIN = 3.5" tall

I would sure like to have this kit. My car is only 1.5 DIN, but I have no problems enlarging the hole to fit a 2-DIN.

My ultimate fantasy is something that looks clean like this, but has a button that can be pressed and the LCD motors down, revealing the DVD-ROM drive.
