1990 VW Corrado Monitor Install - LCD bezel flush mounted in dash surround

I just cut it out of its original position, and epoxied it into the lower position. The actual cable controls screw into that piece from the front. There is a removable bezel that clips into the front piece to cover the screws/mounting. In that picture it is clipped in.

Very nice sivart321. I have a question though, i own 1990 Mitsubitshi Galant. The radio compartment is too low, so i need to remove the AC control unit lower, so it will fit to where the radio compartment was.

Could you please explain the step your taking with your project? If possible with more photo. Thanks very much

how the hell, all this noob get on this site and do badass fiberglassing job. Damn i am jealous. I just sanded my **** for 7th time and still looks like crap so i added more bondo like 30mins ago.

come on... you guys thinking low post count = noob. Pretty sad... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to do this stuff. But even still, If a rocket scientist came on the boards and was telling you how to build a space ship, would you listen if he only had 2 posts? Or is he a noob too?

I didn't have any problems with dynamix. They were very nice over the phone, and got me my stuff in 3 days. The screen is identical to the LintITX screen.

I will try to get more pictures when I install it... Nothing has changed since I started the tread... been a little busy/lazy. The HVAC stuff is going to be unique to the car you are modifying, I highly doubt that me going into detail will help anyone but a fellow corrado owner.

Fellow Corrado owner.. looking to follow in your footsteps! I spoke with you on vortex, I believe after a friend showed me pics of your setup. I'd be interested in hearing some of the details about moving the climate control stuff as well as fitting the screen in there.

Yeah, one of these days I will get around to putting it in. I haven't driven the car in almost a month so there is no real motivation there.

I am still not sure if the HVAC relocation will work. (crossing fingers)

I will update when I do.
