If I were you though, I'd make the drive's bezel a permanent part of your bezel so you would just have a slot visible.

I was going to do that, but the problem is that it is so tight that I actually have to put the lcd and bezel in first, and then the dvd drive slides and snaps into place(I had to build mounts into the top of the bezel, and a stop so you cant push too far).

You cant just put the whole unit straight in unless I chop up the dash peice under the vents(its covered by the trim and no one would know, but still....) I might still attempt this, I am guessing I would end up mounting the dvd drive directly to the dash, and the bezels slot would just line up to it....
