Looks really great!!! Perfect fabrication work. One question though, why didn't you mount the screen up, and the climate controls down?

Just thought i would try and keep the climate where it is and use the original radio and tray space instead. There used to be just a empty tray at the bottom so seemed like best to fill that space LOL

Would have been better further up though

Yeah, I speak only in terms of the viewing angle. Never the less, it looks absolutly wonderfull. Did you do it your self?

Very nice, I'll have to post mine tonight. I opted to take the original bezel and with a lot of cutting, move the HVAC controller down to the bottom. It was a ***** but it was worth it. It turned out really nice. How's the color match on the buttons? I had to paint it a few times (read: 5) before I found a match close enough (Krylon Ultra-Flat Black/Semi-Flat Black mixture with a decent amount of clear coat). Awesome work!

EDIT: Oh and what screen is that? Can we get pictures of the back side of the bezel?

    Double Edit: **** you, I wish I had a climatronic. :-)

The colour match is perfect. I have the 20V turbo sport which had the alumesh. I made the alumesh fit and thats why it looks like crap LOL But the dash was a perfect fit, chris is a legend with conversions.

The screen is a LINITX removed from the origional casing, i then put the remote eye in one of the spare slots. I had to extend the eye but that was easy.

Would love to see other passat installs ?
