Picture shows the Xenarc TSV with option 3 (total mounting with LED and infaret sensor)
Golf IV und Golf V bezel is in work, had enough of silicon compound left
cheers!
JamesMU & Nicolas, the two members, who are still waiting for their bezel, good news in that shipping desaster to U.S., your bezels entered New York habour. Yesterday i phoned again with DHL-Service Munich. So i hope it really goes fast now on american ground. Next time American customers get recommended highly to use the second option of air-mail.

Let me throw out a big ol fat endorsement for Janus. Mine was the recent order in which he first tried the air post method, which took exactly 8 days to reach me here in the US (AZ). All was as promised. I ordered the raw bezel, and am very happy with the result. As expected, it does need some touch up before paint, but overall delivered as expected.Originally Posted by Janus
Any of you also order the raw bezel? Any finishing tips you can share?

As promised, the frontside (view side) is totally even with now errors, you can prush it directly...better to go 100% sure of filling micro-pores filler it and sand it with K1000 paper.
The backside of the raw bezel, as mentioned, needs some lille workout, because this side was the top side in the casting mold and not all air bubbles went out of the mold for 100%. To make the backside totally even use long 3M sanding paper (k40). Epoxy is very easy to sand. Use a small metal plate (monitor size) to check. In a few minutes you have an end face and the monitor can be mounted. for attachment use the m3 inox distance holders inside the pack and drill it (m3) at located points inside the bezel. use the special m3 inox inbus screws to fix.
In your delivered detailed mounting instruction there are more advices.
if you want, fill the handfull small error-holes at the backside (see picture above) with polyester, more for good conscience then really functional needed
all this work is already done if you purchase a painted item.

Rich, you have a nice bezel, but respect that this one is also a puuurfect one...and i´m from bavaria....so who is original haha
