thoguth of that. been discussed but i want the screen fixed, I am gonna set the angle using spacers and then fit the facia and then fill int he gap with putty and make a mold from it.

Recessing helps by giving you an area to rest your hand while bouncing down the road and trying to accurately touch the screen also.

Wouldn't that mess with touch screen pushes? I know my rear view mirors move when I press on them. Not enough to be "bad" for the mirrors, but they arn't as solid as I want my screen to be.

    That's a Type R, right?

i was also thinking of resessing my screen, andi had a second idea to use the motor to my passenger side mirror to control my screen, i could definatly sacrifice it in the name of visibility, basically besdies fabricating it to the back of my screen all i would need to do would be move it, and then when i switch the control on the door to the right one i could control the screen right?

this is my crap mp3 player fitted in a civic type-r. the din slots in the civic are at just the right height and angle to always be affected by glare. i can't see any of my displays unless its raining or night time. This is my first post - so hi to all. Currently in process of contemplating a carputer. have a 1300T-bird lying about and an old 100fsb Motherboard. all the guy's on here have done fantastic jobs with hardware or software apps - i am looking forward to entering the world of having a pc in the car.
