When I was talking about hot glue I was talking about using hot glue to glue the Xenarc to the bezel I already created so I wouldn't have to fabricate another one.

    Blackflux,

You are on the right track, purchase a new aftermarket installation kit, cut the xenarc bezel to fit, epoxy the two together (don't use hotglue it will melt in the heat and you'll be in a world of trouble at that point).

Bondo between the xenarc bezel and the aftermarket radio kit, sand, sand and more sand, then paint, and you're done.

You've seen the pics on my site, I think at least, because you had asked me some questions about mine.

    Good luck.

^^Yeah that's what I should have done from the get go. I'll post comparison pictures between the Xenarc and the new aftermarket installation kit as soon ad I get it. The Xenarc screen (without screen bezel) is just about the same height as the installation kit.

Oh and defsquad how much room did you have between your bezel and the metal frame that holds the OEM radio and A/C controls?

That's exactly what I mean. You can find the screen bezel on mp3car store I think, it's not the expensive either, not to mention the result will look better, as your edges are too rounded.

Ok people I was doing some test fitting late last night and came to the conclustion that I wont be able to do a flush mount my Xernac.

See those 3 little plastic thingies, they snap onto the stock radio and or the aftermarket bezel to make it look flush. And I know what ya’ll are going to say, but I aint cutting them off.

So the way I see it either I will have to do something like this and or buy a flip out monitor.

Well, instead of cutting the dash, cut the Xeanrc bezel? And relocate the buttons soemwhere else! I see you have the Xenarc with the remote control anyway, and the Xenarc does have auto power on and stuff, so you'll barely use the remote as it is, not to mention the buttons...

I really need to talk to defsquad because he has the same car/screen as I do and he was able to install his. When I was test fitting it, it didn't even fit and the LCD wasn't even in the screen bezel yet.

    defsquad's install

Then talk to him, but I'm sure he'll tell you to cut the screen bezel, from what i see it's the only way to make it fit.

Yeah I emailed him already. I guess I aint explaining it right, it's really not the bezel its the LCD. The height of the LCD is just about the same height of the aftermarket installation kit and with those 3 thingies on the HAC control I really don't see how it's going to fit unless it's sitting in front of them. Also there's something else that I foresee as a problem and that's the metal frame that holds the radio and HAC controls, it really doesn't look like there is going to be enough clearance for the LCD to fit behind the bezel. And like I said that was without the LCD actually being in the bezel.
