Hey guys, I am just wondering how much it would cost to get my 7inch Xenarc molded into my car. I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. Here is a pic (mine is not Carbon Fiber....its silver)
am i lookingat like 500 or over.
My max limit is like 300

Price would determined by two things. The finish you want on the piece once completed and how difficult it is to move the AC controls. Just for the molding work and to put a high gloss painted finish in base coat/clear coat I would charge 250.00. But then there is the moving of the AC which could be easy hard to say without taking the car apart. Overall.....the job should cost between 300.00 and 400.00 to get a top notch finished professional product.

For a little more heads up. I only use PPG and Dupont paint products. The materials alone will often cost 100.00 bucks or more for the kind of finish I apply. Same finish that is on the outside of your car. You will find various prices but keep in mind the various finishes. Making the panel look like carbon fiber is also possible or wood grain...if you want to spend the money.

Should be pretty easy to do, just move the a/c controls down, make a few minor cuts, epoxy, bondo, sand, primer, paint.

Do you have any fabrication experience? You really could save yourself a lot of money, unless you're just really no good at this kind of thing or something.
