Looking for walkthroughs/DIY Write ups for custom center consol and door panel fabrication.


Hey, got a bit confused with the searching so I thought I would just post a thread. I have a feeling that some of you guys might have some links saved that have exactly what I need. I am about to start my interior fabrications…Finally.. and I am hoping to pick up as much knowledge as possible before I tackle this chapter of the project car. Everything has to look perfect for this car. Ok, So yea, if anyone has any good links or tips/tricks to design and fabricate this center consol please let me know. As for the door panels I will be fabricating the front part to house 3 way components at a better angle to improve the sound stage.

Below is a concept pic of a really fast/out of proportion CAD design I did up to show the rough idea of the center consol design. I think that’s about all I have to say right now.
