    InDashPC case version 2 (pics)

It was a long way though !
Just got enough time to complete the assembly of my new case. See my previous version if interested.
I've made it for my favourite and cheap EPIA-ME6000. IceUnit.com was giving me real good feedbacks/support during development, so I want to send kudos to him. Thanks !
Here is the metal case part (20 & 26 Ga CRS).
It has 4 parts including the changeable backplate for non EPIA-M boards:

Here is the front panel from plastic:

I have mounted small (30mm) fan at the backplate to prevent fanless boards from overheating:

    And see the result:

I'm working on improving the design to fix some gaps, but they are just a cosmetic ones...

Still not sure which pushbutton to use. May be someone can give me a hand and send me the link to a right one ?

Let me know what you think !

Nice work, that looks beautifully fabricated.

I'm gonna go down the "in dash" route too, although I have a Double-DIN space to play with. I hope to have my screen attached to the front too.

How did you fabricate the plastic front???

That's great ... when will these be available? I'd like to get one for my other In Car PC project using a different ITX board, the changeable backplate makes it perfect !!!

There are many shops around that do plastic fabrication. I used SLA painted black.

Any updates on this? That case looks awesome!

If I may make a suggestion though: what it would look like with a couple of buttons nicely integrated in there, for the pc control?
