My Lilliput is coming today to install in my Mazda3. My stock HU curves at the top, so the replacement dash panel I got is a bit odd. I realized it might be cool if I made is so the touch screen is removeable (antitheft) and just kind of dropped in from the top. I could use angle aluminum on the back of the LCD and in the dash to make a cradle, and possibly create a connector for the VGA, USB, and power so I didnt have to fiddle with cables. Has anybody attempted a removeable LCD install like this before? Searched, but no luck.

ya that guy with the merc made a sweet connector
Thanks, I found the SLK install. That is pretty sweet. Now I just need to learn how to drill holes straight and to measure things correctly...
