I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I can make this face plate look real nice, I was thinking about using fiberglass but I don't know how I would get it to fit perfectly unless i left the dvd rom in it but then I might ruin the face plate of the dvd rom any help is appreciated

Totally newbie here.
What tool do you use to make nice cut on ABS plastic? (a picture would be great).
i'm guessing that using a sharp utility knife or dremel tool will do the job
