I've hacked up my centre dash, now what?!

Just looking for some advice here...

I've cut out the HU slot, heating controls and buttons housing from my Ford Fiesta's (don't laugh) centre dash. I now want to swap their positioning around so that the HU slot and buttons housing looks something like the 1st attached image (they are very crudely held in place with a bit of tape and super glue).

Am I ready to apply the P40 straight on or do I have to fill the gaps with some sort of filler glue?

Any advice on how to proceed would be much appreciated,

    Cheers,
    Timbo

The "filler glue" should be a plastic epoxy for best results IMO, and abs epoxy if your dash is made of abs.
