Custom Sub enclosure in Ford Explorer

I just finished this on friday.
took 4 trys, 3 different ways, however after I saw the TLC video from "Rides", I used fleece for the initial shell.

I was working on a video - how-to on it.. but 1/2 through I wasn;t sure if it would come out right, but I think I'll do it over on the other side.

Looks excellent, nice job. Just one question, does the enclosure have enough air space for the subs?

it's only 1, 8" I'm not sure on the exact volume, but I hot glued the fleece to the body so it is about 6 inches deep. it's a very odd shape.. but it sounds GREAT! .. and by great I mean it mixes well with the highs and mids of the stock system, but is not obnoxious.

Honestly I did this for resale value, and for the fun of it than real use. I'm getting old have a son now.

hmm I looked some things up on that. but my goal wasn't "factory" .. I wanted to try the look of "tubbed" or whatever.. for a 1st try I thought it went well.. but thanks for the input. the photo makes it looks much junkyer than it is.. I haven't cleaned anything up yet.. still dusty and whatnot.
