Tips for securing Mechatronics bezel in a Volkswagen?

I bought the TMZ/Mechatronics bezel and chassis (now available at the mp3car.com store!) for my Lilliput 619. I've sawed off the last 1 to 1.4 inches of the bezel so it fit the depth of my VW radio cage. The parts aren't a perfect fit, but they're close. I believe other VW owners have used this same hardware to mount their screens in their double-din VW Golf/Jetta dash openings. How did you secure it? It looks like I'll need to drill a hole in the chassis and screw it to either the side or the bottom of the plastic VW radio cage.

Any ideas, experiences would be appreciated.
