Thread: Any Ideas on a 91 Suzuki Vitara Dash install?

    And again!!! lol.... so is that all they are? brake cables?

    Theres some loose in the original cables , They have to put loose, or else if its too tight the cable will get stuck, so Im pretty sure you can move it, but not too far.

    Yes its the same thing, maybe no the same gauge but its the same thing. I wouldnt suggest changing the cables, lenght of the cable might offset something.

    so i may be able to go up or down but not off the original panel... right, so they go down to replace the ashtray and then the screen and DVD can replace the DIN and AC unit....

    Or how easy would it be to relocate the vents?

    Replacing the ducts MIGHT not too hard (depending if the pipes are hard or soft) , if the are hard , you can replace them with soft pipes. If they are soft , its as simple as moving them. But than you need to refabricate the slots (unless you direct the pipes to your feet or something).

    It would be easier not to relocate the vents IMO. you can take them out but not relocate them.

    i c.... the only thing then is, i have a vent by my door, and there is a vent by the passenger door, but that doesnt allow any air through it, its broken and nothing comes out.... could this just bee a disconnected vent pipe?

    Could be , check were the pipes lead. And see if they are disconected.

    Hmmm, ok then, I'm going to leave you alone now, lol, short of asking you to pop over and check it for me.. Plus we have gone off the topic lol.... Anyone else got some wicked ideas?

    Could i create a complete skin like Altimat makes:

    Your not bothering me , Maybe you can get a 1 din lcd? Would save you some trouble.
