    That looks hot.

    Comming along nicely

Got a few questions if you have the time:

How many hours has it taken you to get the boot / trunk this far???

How many layers of glass did you use ???

Not sure on the time factor and do not want to know... lots..... as for the layers the spare tire well enclosure has thick fleece and 2 layers of heavy mat, same with the pods that hold the speakers. It is thick 3/8 to 7/16 and super strong with no flex. Not sure on the weight of the fiberglass mat. The trim has the thick fleece and one layer of fiber glass cloth (lays on better). also has some mat in areas that needed a bit more strength and thickness. I think i have used 3 gallons of resin so far. Moving on to the custom trim for the touch screen. Will have the screen, volume controls with hot media keys and 2 usb ports from a dell keyboard(sk8135). heater controls as well. Also making a custom guage pillar to hold a 5 inch autometer tach and 2 other guages and tweeter pods. NEED MORE TIME! It should look very clean

Your mustang looks Awesome. That is a great idea with the media buttons, but I have two quick questions. First, what hacking was needed to remove the buttons and usb ports to interface with the computer? Second, how does the computer interpet button presses, via Girder or just as if the keyboard was intact? Thanks, and keep up the awesome work!

that keyboard comes with 2 usb ports on it and the cct boards for the multimedia keys and usb ports come right out and you can ditch the keyboard. those keys bring up windows media player and run all the controls. not sure if you can map those to other programs ...

when you put the resin for the trunk how did you make it not stick to the sides of the trunk??also how did you get it out???or did you sand it from inside the trunk????

    1) Painters tape
2)some people use the "Pam" oil spray to pop it out, or just work it off of the painters tape
    3) chances are he didn't sand it from inside the trunk, fiberglass goes every f***in where
