    Fabrication help needed with lilliput

Alright I have a Rodeo/Passport and was going to mount my monitor from behind. Only problem is I bought the only monitor that does not lie flush due to the slight angle at the bottom of the monitor. What can I do with this? Should I just ebay it or sell it here and get a different monitor, cut the buttom off??? I could use some advise here on this one TIA.

That should be a very easy install, and it will certanlly look great!

Just cut the buttom off. Don't cut it to the dimensions of the dash, but exactly the surface of it that's not flush.
Then it's all a matter of relocating the buttons, maybe in the ashtray in a new panel, or relocate just the IR sensor, so you could use it only with the remote, and make the auto turn on/off mod.
Believe me, easier done, than said...

Cris thanks for the reply. My main concern was the actual housing, and cutting the bottom off, if it would destroy anything with the monitor. I didn't want to loose any support, but I guess if it is going to be ABS plastic welded in place it should be fairly rigid even without the bottom.
I am not sure which one is the IR sensor, but the buttons can be extended thank god, becasue it is not ribbon cable.

Has anyone done this mod (cutting the bottom off)with this monitor
