Alright, I have been really slow with this project, but was motivated by some life changes (ex-girlfriend). I have been doing more thinking than working on this project, so here goes.
This is the first step, mounting of the touch screen. I am really good at fiberglass, but have not done much abs plastic work. After seaching the web and this site, I decided to go with a bumper repair kit, to mold the abs plastic together.

I want to use a CD player/receiver instead of an Alpine processor. I will mount a head unit here, after molding in a housing for the sleeve. Actually I have no idea what goes behind this center so I better see how much space I have back there. I was making an assumption based on pics I have seen of other installs.
