Heat is not really an issue when you build your chassis out of something with very good thermal properties such as aluminum. The chassis actually acts as a heat sink to draw heat away. In my setup the temps have never even gotten close to their heat threshold, even in 90 degree summer temps and the only fan in the system is the cpu fan.

I haven't yet, but then again the system hasn't seen 100 degree weather yet either. There are vents behing the computer that lead up and out to the winsheild. I am hoping thats enough to draw the heat out.

Price work for me, and forget about any mounting holes. I can do it myself, no problem (even better I will be able to adjust any part in case of any surprises).Only if possible make fan opening in top part as on picture.

AXm I can do the fan hole no problem. Let me know when you are ready to order, My router table has been running daily now cutting up aluminum, plastic and HDU.

diosagain, Love the TV setup route. Im looking into this more as seeing how I have good cable TV at home, would be nice to beam it to the mustang!

I started your chassis today, Here are a couple pics. Just to let you know I'm getting married on Sat and my schedule is booked until next week so I probably will not be able to finish it until the beginning of next week. I still need to bend up the shelf and do some finishing but everything looks great and fits together nicely. Cannot wait to see this bad boy assembled.

blk02si,do u still make those custom cases,i too have a ford mustang,but a 05,so i know your case would fit perfect in my car.also, have u mess around with satellite radio,i have siruis and would like till still use it.i currently use a fm transmiter..thanxs
