blk, I'm interested in your case, could yo reply to my PM? Thanks!
It would be very easy to change the back button behavior to suit your needs, just 1 line of code per skin. The EWF menu or at least the EWF batch files you should look into if you go with an embedded install.
I too scrapped minlogon after a few initial attempts. It seems to have a lot of problems my biggest one was not being able to run RR as shell cleanly. This is imperative to me as I don't like any references to windows at all.

Will do kitit, must have missed it, I get a lot of PM's.
Here is a pic of my new hardware layout, added a .063" aluminum shelf for my LCD controller and Flash hardware. This opens the PC up a lot and allows more airflow around the CPU and other heatsinks. I was also looking into a couple snap in micro power supplies and a laptop drive to fit all the hardware inside the case and I also found the xenarc pin out to do my hardwire conversion.![]()

Hello blk02si i am interested in buying one of your Enclosures for my 2006 mustang. If your still making them please send tell me what i need to do to have one shipped to my house.
Just wanted to post some pics of the case blk02si made for me which included attaching the xenarc screen. I also had a chance to install my motherboard today so I am attaching some pictures of that too.
Looks great Greg, I like that mobo selection. I was not aware that other board manufactures were using the via chipsets. Anyway looks fantastic, and I can make you the hard drive bracket if you need it.
PM sent JMD
epod, I don't have a protractor handy to measure the angle but here is a dimensioned side view.

Yes I very much so need that hard drive mount (how long will that take?), and I was doing some reading on the m2atx and I think I be ordering that today. Thanks for all of your help so far and I will update with pics as I go along.
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I searched and couldn't find anything. I am interested in doing something similar. I have a 1997 Dodge Neon with a stereo that is malfunctioning. I figured this would be the perfect time to upgrade to a carputer. I can gut the factory stereo and retain the stereo chassis to fill in with carputer parts, therefore making the carputer a simple all in one bolt in unit. I want to retain the 4 channel amp inside the stereo if it's possible to integrate this into the new system I have planned.
The issue I have is finding a motorized LCD screen. I don't want to put an LCD screen over the front of this stereo. I want the LCD screen to be motorized, like this:

I want to take a motorized screen like that and put it in the existing chassis. Is there such a screen sold where you can put it in a custom project like mine, or do they only sell fully integrated units?
Check out my GMC Savana worklog.
