Hey katit, I am still here, I apologize if we lost contact, Ive had 5 requests for cases hit my inbox at the exact same day so i'm trying to keep them all straight. I sent one out and a member named jason who lives downriver came to my house to check out my carPC and picked a chassis up in person. If you would katit, sent me a reminder via gmail and I will get things going. If its a custom order it will take longer. The mustang chassis I have some stock in right now.

Trial & Error. I did 4 xpe builds before I was happy with the final product. I used nlite to strip down a XP SP1 disk to nothing then added my drivers and some embedded componets to the ISO. Bur relly it just comes down to building and testing your other software with your system.

Thanks again for the chassis blk02si it looks like it will work out great. Im still considering using my Lilliput screen instead of getting a xenarc, but still want to test it in the car during the day. How does the xenarc perform in sunlight? The text quality of the lilliput is something to be desired but its really not an issue with roadrunner as it is when trying to view a text file or webpage.

I guess the first step in putting it together is mounting the LCD to the frame before i can decide the best placement to mount the frame to the chassis then the motherboard to chassis, so until i make a final decision on whether to use the lillput or not i am stuck.

I finally downloaded and installed V3.0 of shock skin also and it runs nice on the pc, although there are a few changes i would like to make; seems not possible to organize music and choose based on artist or album or playlist (maybe having a "now playing" list and another screen with sorted library/playlists which you can select songs to add to now playing list is possible)?, would like to remove the fm and sat buttons and replace them with other menu or get rid of them altogether and i would also like more play control for loop random etc, and finally perhaps a different color embossing/backdrop for the text of selected/active buttons. Shock Skin is for sure one of the best skins around and i like the simplicity and the transparent buttons.
