Yes I did go with the m2 Joe I thought the hook up would be a little difficult from some of the others but once I read one of the manuals online I saw how easy it actually was.
Its is a universal double din chassis. You can however check the autocad sketches to make sure your car has enough depth to fit it.

The thumbs up is a great touch, thanks for the laugh.
Interested in getting rid of any more of those male CF->IDE adapters?
Almost there...

Looks good nano! You can get the extended ribbon cable in the mp3car store. Or maybe you can just put the controller on the back of the LCD and have both move when you open the unit. Anyway nice fab job let us know how it goes!

Have you heard if your kit will fit in an 2007 FJ Cruiser? I might be interested!
Depends on how deep you can go. The FJ has 8-9/32" of depth per Crutchfield.
The kit will fit into an FJ. I sold a kit to another member who used it in a FJ.
Just wanted to keep the thread updated and let everyone know the carPC has been running flawless for awhile now. No issues what so ever. I have turned much of my carPC time to the software side of things and have been developing my rr skin for about 6 months now.
I am extremely happy that I built this and have decided I will never own a car without a PC again in my life./
