Finally put it all back together. Also tweaked my amp setting a bit and I must conclude that this HD tuner was WELL WORTH THE MONEY! The stations are crystal clear in HD mode plus you get sub channels that don't play commercials. I posted this in the HD cables thread and ill post the FYI here also. You can get these tuners for about 60-70 dollars on ebay right now from seller 'crosslakesales" fast shipping too!

im also curious to know how the hd radio works ... i see it has a screen with it ... did u do away with that and integrate it into the touchscreen as well??

Whoops thats almost right your syntax is correct but I meant to type joe dot shock at gmail dot com. I spell it out for spam protection, spammers love to find email links on public forums

Yep ditched the included controller (fugly) and plumbed the interface connection directly to the serial port of the PC. I configured RR to support the HD tuner and the front end screen in the pics is my custom skin i coded to match the rest. Shock skin 6.0

The interface cable I bought form mitchjs, hes a member on these forums and makes them.

This will be a thing of the past in some weeks, see here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/hard...mp-anyone.html

No high power beast, but quality audio at HU levels.

Nice work on that Mustang, a pity we don't have HD here in europe (but we do have DAB, just no solution for the car yet).

hay blk02si, are you still making cases? I sent you a pm but you never responded. I need one for an 06 cobalt. I was looking at the one that mp3car sells without the screen but i want to try and support you, plus yours are cheaper .

So I ended up ordering a new M2-ATX power supply from logic supply and I find out I can just ship the broken one back to the manufacturer and they will send me a new one which leaves me with two brand new M2-ATX power supplies. If anyone needs/wants an M2-ATX power supply let me know and I will hook you up with a good deal I am just trying go get my money back since I obviously don't need two of them.

I got my sirius tuner and everything else mounted today with the antenna routed without any wires showing (yes awesome I know). Then I had to make a longer wire w/molex connection to power the usb interface which wasn't hard at all. I will post some pictures soon.

I do have a question for anyone that has knowledge on the issue. The M2-ATX power supply has a feature that eliminates the pop from the amplifier. All you do is hook up the remote wire (from the amp) to the amp pins on the M2-ATX but there is a positive and negative pin on the power supply do I just split the single remote wire into two ( in order to have a positive and negative)? Or do I have to run a wire from the amps ground also?
    PM'ed you RE PSU

Yup still making them, sorry if I overlooked your PM this was a hectic week, just finished my last final exam yesterday. One month of freedom from college, yay!

Best bet is to measure your OEM radio chassis. This will tell you how much room you are working with.
