Thats Awsome! I went to Trinity(State Champs in football this year). I go to U of L now tho. This weekend im going to start putting all the parts together in the case and mount the screen. Everytime i think i have everything i realize i need to order another part. My motherboard raisers should be here tom.
hey blk02s1, what kind of CF card are you using to boot your OS? Im using a Trandcend 266x 4GB card, with the OS from you ISO, and keep getting page_fault_in_nonpaged_area blue screen as soon as the green windows loading bar shows up. I've already swapped all my hardware out, new ram, disabled as much as i could in the bios...etc. Maybe i need to get a different CF card to test.
I am running a SanDisk Ultra II 1gb on an IDE>cf ADAPTOR

I finally got mine to boot correctly after I used Hiren's BootCD (info can be found here http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd ). I used a regular hard drive to make sure everything was how I wanted it to be and then used "image center" which is on Hiren's bootCD under "Disk Clone Tools" to clone the disk to an image file. Then used the same program to restore the image but when you restore it make sure you restore it to the compact flash drive.
Another thing to note before you load your OS and all content to the regular hard drive is to make sure you partition it to equal the amount of space of your compact flash card. That means if you have a 4GB hard drive make sure you partion the regular drive to be equal to 4GB or a little less. The best way to figure it out is to right click on your compact flash drive and see how much space is actually available (which will probably read in MB's). Then when you partition your hard drive use that number.
Hope this helps

Thanks Gla, noted. I think it was actually my CF card that was having issues. I mentioned that i had a Trandcend card above, but it's actually a A-Data 4GB 266x. Even when i hooked the CF to my normal PC via the CF to IDE adapter, it'll make my computer bluescreen. I've broke down the other day and ordered a Sandisk Extreme IV 4GB, so we'll see how that goes.
I figured i put too much money into this whole project already, im not gonna let 100 bucks stand in my way of completing it.
Don't worry bugster, I bought a cheapie CF disk initinally and it would not boot at all. I use SanDisk because they are well known to be durable and bootable. I test with DOS first on these CF cards because the whole OS is a few MB. It only takes seconds to copy DOS to the CF and if you can get it to boot DOS, it will boot XP(E) no problem. Let us know how it goes!
How is everything else going with yoru install greg? Pics looked stellar!
