Complete bolt in Screen/CPU/HD/PS - indash

I've considered it but honestly I would never use it. All my CD's I just rip them to a 500Gb external drive. I don't like fumbling with CD's scratching them, etc.

This is a personal preference however as I am building a complete bolt in right now for stone statue of these forums that is using the slot load drive from the mp3car store.

Here is stone's PC so far I am still waiting for him to send me a couple more LCD parts so I can determine the optical drive mounting, but its going to mount over the top of this chassis with an asymmetrical .063" aluminum lid.

What is that thing with the MP3car logo on it? I have never seen it before.

Also have you got the Zotac into your car? i just got mine yesterday and I am wondering if I should use the wi-fi kit that came with it. I have a wireless N USB adapter already, but want feed back on the one that came with the Zotac.

That hardware board is the HQCT am/fm tuner, from the mp3car store.

Currently I am running an intel D945GCLF board in my truck PC, she's been rock stable, but the BIOS has some issues with certain USB devices. It does not like my usb X-Fi sound card very much but in the end it still works fine.

Sounds good Scott, This is going to be the bolt in of bolt-in's! It has way more hardware stuffed into it than the average carPC!
