    Laser cutting aluminium backplate

    Hey guys,

I've created a CAD drawing of a backplate I need cutout for my Commell LV-671MP mini-ITX motherboard.

Only problem is, I dont have access to a laser cutter or whatever machinery is required to cut it out, so I was hoping someone on here would be able to help me out

If anyone can get this cut out for me, without having to pay loads of setup costs and such, it would be really appreciated. If not, then I guess I will have to fork out some cash. Just thought I'd try my luck and ask you fine bunch of people first

Oh, and before you ask, no commell do not make a backplate for this board and the one on logicsupply (http://www.logicsupply.com/product_i...roducts_id/478) doesnt include the PCMCIA slot (LV-671NSMP model), so I gotta do this myself.

Here's a pic of what I need cutout:

I need a 3/4" hole in my dash for a switch, anyone have access to a cnc machine that can cut me a new dash from a cad file, with the hole in it?

just get the one from logicsupply and cut the slot yourself it would take about 5 minutes with a dremel/drill

    Thanks guys.

And i cant use the one one logicsupply because its not big enough to fit the PCMCIA slot underneath. Its made to fit against standard backplate cutouts in cases, not ones 55mm high, hence why I stated I can't use it.

One a side note, whats the best dremel toolbit for cutting 1-2mm aluminium? Ive got a few holes to cut in the front that dont need to be real precise as they will be covered by buttons.
