    Hi!
I suppose that by now you have already taken out your centre console. If not then you have to remove the bottom board (where you have the window buttons) just pull it up as it is held in place with springs. Then you will see two screws to remove the ash tray: pull it towards you after removing the 2 screws. I don’t remember the rest of the way but I do remember that you have 2 more screws behind the ac controller or the car radio. Just remove both and take a look. I had a video on that but just can't recall where the hell ALL the videos are...

    Hope it helps.

Thank you all for your kind words on my install.

Unfortunatly it cracked a bit. I allready ordered a used dash in ebay (so i can make a new one while using the cracked one).

This time I think I'll use a 6.5 screen. I got my hands on a screen from Sharp that's used in automotive applications
I'm just figuring out the pinout on this thing. It has built in TS controller and BL inverter

I'll let you know how it goes.

    Great link Holern !

    Very Nice Job!

I'm running a Lilliput motorized Indash for instance but really love the look of an integrated LCD screen.

Unfortunately, i don't have Electronic Climate control, so it would be a bit harder for me to move the Manual Climate control buttons...

Or maybe, i'm gonna try to do a custom console over the dash...since i don't want to sacrifiate center Airflow grills...

    Regards,

    Frenchy.

Great job and thank you for sharing.

Could you please also tell about your SMD LED interior illumination conversion?

FYI. I changed the finish of the wood trim in my E320 to a carbon fiber look. Turned out very nice. The reason I say this, is because my good friend is doing this and I wanted to recommend it to you to make the finish match the rest of the wood trim. Here are some photos. Let me know if you are interested.
