    Custom Moterized lcd

Hey, pleae forgive me if this has already been asked, I used the search and couldn't find anything, and i've been up all night on this forum 0l33l

Anyways, how complicated would it be to create a moterized mount for an LCD screen, to come in and out (like general aftermarket alpines and other brands do)

i'd want to create a single hinge mount which connects to the center-bottom of the lcd display.

any info related to this would help, thanks.

You are aware that there are already motorized VGA LCD panels on the market...
DigitalWW also sells a housing that will accept a Lilliput 7" screen, as well.

Try checking the offerings of the store here and at DigitalWW.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Yes, i'm aware of that. I just wanted to go the cheap route :-P

Since I posted this, I realized that the LCD display unit itself(without the casing) would fit my dash, with some bondo and dremeling, ofcourse. So I won't be needing to create a ghetto "moterized hinge" anymore
