Hey WebDog, Im interested but have the alu R32 dash. I was wondering if there'd be any chance of you sharing your technical drawing you work to so I can get an aluminum one machined up?

I have just finished installing my T-View 7" LCD into my R32's dash.. and it fit perfectly using the headrest shroud...

I will post pics very soon of my install.. but it pretty much looks OEM enough for me to be happy...

I just got a MKV Jetta and would be interested in seeing how you go about doing this for the MKIV. I'm pretty sure I can fit the 8" Lilliput in my car but I'd like to see what you end up with so I can rob your ideas

This is what I did in My MK4 R32 ... I just couldnt wait any longer for the bezel...

I must say its nice what you've done Strohj and i know you havent finished it but i must disagree with the way the screen is at the moment, i have the same screen but im trying to mdf a new bezel as i do like the cup holders even thou its not a good idea to have a cold drink dripping over or near the screen...

Im gonna start lookin at injection molding too as another option as mdf is nice to work with but the strength of it im not convinced that it will do the job...
