Thread: MKIV Volkswagen 7" bezel

I am anxious also... however, this is for a lilliput and I have to say, I am gonna do a Xenarc. I may have to fab a few minor details (x-fingers) to make it flush as I do not know the total difference between the 2 screens, but I do not want to buy a lilliput and then a few months later something happens. Knowing my luck. But regardless, this will be hot.

im working on it as fast as i can... right now i am fixing a small crack in the original before i can make a mold and the paint just takes ages to dry... its almost looking perfect, then i will take it directly to the mold and get that made.

just a little update, ive finaly got the hair line crack to dissapear.
I had to make the crack a lot larger then i filled it with CA glue and sanded it down. I "should" be able to make the mold tonight if stuff goes to plan...

i would def want one of these, still havent bought the screen but wanna show my interest in one of these. how much will it cost if u know? sorry if im repeating some of the questions...

just woundering if there was any update to the status of this project? i bet im not the only one dying to find out.

last night when i was making the mold it got contaminated and is not curing right so when i get home i need to bake it for about 5 hours to see if it will work or if i need to try again.

if i didint have a 9-5 this would be done weeks ago...
