I dug around the threads a little bit and didnt see what I was looking for. Has anybody made a swivel / tilt for the screen to make it easier for the driver or passengerto view. where my screen will go in my ranger faces straight back.. I havent used a carputer and I don tknow how the view angles are, but would there be any advantage to makeing it so it could tilt maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch left or right? I did see some people installed the screens with a slight angle to the driver, but I dont want to leave my passengers wondering what looks so cool that theyre always leaning over in my face.

my idea is to build a box where I'm going to recess the screen with pins in the top and bottom so when its pivoted you wont see wires or a hole or anything on the sides. my next hurdle is I need to find a way to secure it enough so that the touchscreen can be used without making it bounce around, but not where its too difficult to swivle it back to the other side.. and something durable enough so that after its swivled left to right a dozen times its so loose it just flops around

for reference I'll be using a Gain 7" monitor similar to the xenarc, and I DO plan on putting in a slot load in the dash.. just not sure where yet..
