    looks very nice! much props!

one question, how difficult is it to get a CD in the CD player with it down there?

with the pictures it looks like it would be rather difficult, maybe it's just the angle?

Thanks! Actually unless the car is moving I can't get the cd in there. I have to put it in Drive or at least in reverse to get it to fit. At the moment I don't have the drive installed because I have my HU behind the screen right now. I'm awaiting to buy a 4channel amp to replace my head unit. Right now its just the faceplate to the slot load drive. My idea install would have been to put the screen higher and relocated the HVAC. Oh well, I may by another bezel to try some new ideas.

I think it should be a better idea to relocate the HVAC controls... You could easily fit a bigger screen in there! an 8" for sure, maybe even a 10".

Your car is awesome! I think it's the nicest model for the Supra. Still, that's quite an ugly shifter...

I was about to ask you that - Do you think an 8" would go in the same location? I ask as breaker021 just pointed me at these 8" screens going pretty cheap and in my country too!

congrats agian on the Fabrication job - I hope mine looks that good

The 8" will fit but will take up the space at the bottom where i have my slot load dvd drive. i have an 8" one that i was originally going to fab but decided on the 7" widescreen option for the sole purpose of putting the slot load dvd drive at the front with it.

ahh i see the dilemna I was gonna do that too. you can get writers of the same design pretty cheap now. and it looks good there too although like you said the gearstick gets in the way.

might put mine facing straight up, down the side of the transmission tunnel or somethig

You maybe able to put a dvd rom on the "fake" looking vent infront of the pass seat. Last time I look at that part, it is big/high enought for a standard dvd drive. Not sure about deep, the ECU maybe on the way.

Well my 8" touchscreen arrived. All looks very impressive except theres a vertical thin red line through the screen about 1 pixel wide. nearly in the middle too. So thats gonna have to go back and i'm pretty sure the ebay vendors are gonna give me loads ofgrief over whos paying the postage
