that radio location is just perfect for a 7 inch screen, and (from the picture) doesnt look like you would have to cut anything, but you do have space above it if you need to.
good luck on your install, hope to see more pictures very soon.
I'm going to be doing an install in a 2003 buick regal ls. The interior looks somewhat like this right now:

Photobucket is being updated, if a picture i posted no longer works, please PM me.
That would look pretty sweet actually!
i'm going to take apart the dash on the may 24 weekend and see how much room i'd have to work with.
Actually, I have an 01 Regal GS and I'm about to do the install as well. The dash opening seems perfect. Too bad i'm using a SFF PC I had lying around, if I had something smaller, there are two places that would be perfect to install a mini-itx computer.
are you using the OnStar hack for your GPS? The Regal really is a great car.
Take some pics when you're done. If you need a service manual for any electrical stuff I have an AllData DIY membership.Originally Posted by vanhanz

EDIT: Found it, i'll look into it and possibly use it. The computer we plan on using is a dell optiplex with windows 2000 that we're going to put in the trunk.
