BTW: The round box in the center is a motor to rotate the monitor that will go on top of that, to move it left, right, up and down. My mate got it out of an old electric sidemirror of a car.

crazy job. would not it make more sence to buy original part (junkyard) and mold that one instead?
in any case, I like the idea of sidemirror motor.

Country i live in isnt that big, only 30,000 peeps.
I went to the junkyard but with no luck, but it was my first choice obviously.
I'd rather do things the easy way, but when impossible, had to improvise and do one myself.

glad u like the mirror idea.

crazy as in making a new dash out of wood like that is a lot of work to do to get the finish right. lots of sanding and filling and getting it to fit the hole perfectly.

(i am doing the same though so carn talk but not using wood)

    hahaha

    well, yes its hard work.

i spent the whole day yesterday doing that, and was working with another mate!!

Still need to make the mouse wheel and button fixtures done on one side of the monitor section and on the other side i want to put 2 usb ports.

then i have to do the rest of fabrication and painting.

    Any ideas and advice?
Anything handy i can put into my panel, like another useful port like usb or summin?

BTW: good luck to ur project scouse monkey
