    I remember a thread where a guy fabbed a screen for his supra and it had a really nice matt texture to it. maybe you could find that.....

    I cant wait to see how this comes out!

    RustOleum makes a textured spray. Mine matched my stock texture PERFECTLY. Also it covers up little imperfections really really well.

    I'd say I'm 70% done with fabbing now. Need to add a little more goo to the low spots, and then lots of sanding. I'm having a little trouble getting into the corners to sand.

    I hated the lower corners in the last pic so I hacked them off and cut rounded corners from my ABS pipe. I really like the look now, it keeps the bezels styling going.

    I wish I had realized that the screen was offset in the Xenarc bezel before I got started. Now it's slightly off center. Oh well, it's too late now.

    I like how the abs piping worked out. It looks very good.

    For the corners you cant reach...consider this:
    Look in a hardware store for sanding bits. Then get a power drill and use it the little sanding bits to get into those hard corners.

    More sanding done. Still need to get in the corners and add more filler. I was able to get a lot of the inside sanding done with the dremel.

    The tray load dvd-rom is in there for test fit. For the final install it will be a slot load.
