I bondo this screen a few months ago and i'm taking it out to replace the touchscreen. I figured i might as well fix this crack while its out. Whats the best way to go about doin this?

Here is my best recommendation.
Coming from experience.
Make sure there are NO sharp edges or creases to fill in. Make sure you can get a nice feathered edge in there. I use 80-100 grit to make sure there are no sharp transitions.
The other thing is.. if possible reinforce the back side in that area. I use one of three things.. ABS sludge, bondo or high temp hot melt glue.
I had this happen on the first bezel I did. I went back in and make sure I got rid of all of the sharp angles there and feather the filler back more from the area where it is stressed. You should be good to go after that.
Good luck.
yea i know why it tore.. after it was completely done i tried to put it in the car but it wasnt correctly shaped. Tried forcing it and there ya go. Also cracked my touchscreen lol. Its been that long since and its not growing at all even after bein in and out of the car many times. There's no stress in the area now. I'm gonna see if i can fill the crack with an epoxy, sand it down and repaint rather than have to fool with bondo again.

well, if you had to force it to get it in there, chances are you'll have to force it to get it in there again, filling it wont change that. You'll probably just crack it again when you fill it and try and shove it back in place.

nah it requires no forcing anymore i fixed that problem. I patched up just fine with some fine super glue and a repaint. Thanks.
