    Whole Caputer for $954.00

Minus the power supply... and the headaches??

I have been lurking for a long time here and was just wondering if anyone has tried this...

    http://http://www.monarchcomputer.co...ct_Code=100321

Monarch has everything but the display which you can get at MP3Car.com or ebay or wherever... and the power supply for a double DIN setup?

I am still a couple months from really starting my project 2006 F-150 but was just wanting some input.

    Thanks
    Omega

    Hmm

Well here is the link without using the "add link" button... you may have to cut and paste in a new browser.

It is no different than any other setup based on an EPIA motherboard.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

If you want tight integration, you'd be better off with this offering from the mp3car.com store: http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=238
That case from Monarch is probably going to be longer than your dash is deep. There are very few dashes that are 11" deep (10" for the case plus another 1" to allow for cables plugged into it).

Another option is the Aopen Pandora: http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=205
Although it's not going to appear anywhere near as integrated as the Infill unit.

...and that's conservative. Measure the length of a VGA connector sometime, and you'll see (although there are right angle adapters available, it's true).
