feedback?

I am to use the griffin powermate to control my carPC but I just couldn't feel the whole aluminum/blue led thing with the rest of my car being so neutral and mellow. So i fabricated a little dress-up kit for it, a cap for the knob and a base that fits snugly into the cupholder. I was playing with a few things here, but I wanted to see what you thought.

so quick question...since you were making your own knob... why didn't you go smaller?

I designed it entirely by feel. I didn't really make my own knob, I just covered the existing one. But I played with the griffin for awhile and just decided that the knob felt too small for me. So that's why i did that instead of just painting the knob straight up. I turned it on a lathe so i could play with different concavities, profiles, etc. as i went. It's probably not much bigger around than a Red Bull can.
