Older civic hatchback audio install pics

Here are some pics of my cuz (Brian Rios) civic, I put in a JL 12w7 w/ a JL 500/1 amp. and some 6x9's. I started with a sealed box w/ a 1" clear plexi top. There are some red neon bars inside. Then i made a cover for the sub. I left enough room around the sub, so i looks like it's just floating over the red light. Might change the light to blue. Then I made the 6x9 pods for the sides.(to cover up some big holes from the last owner, Another cuz of mine) Wrap it up w/ blue carpet and done for now. Next maybe fiber glass the whole thing? And some better 6x9's!

Where did you hide the amps?
And where can I find 1" clear plexi?

I put the amp on the side of the box. It's bolted to the floor. My cuz don't work in the greatest area, so everything is doubled bolted and hidden.The windows are limo tint, so you can't see what in it. For the plexi, there is a local shop in Anahiem CA (don't remember the name). The carputer will also be hidden on the other side of the box. I am waiting on another touchscreen lcd for that install.

1" thick plex runs a WHOLE lot of money from wherever you get it.

So you have neon inside the sub box??? can it handle all the pressure that dub 7 has?

The neon are no problem, it's the original box that had the problem. A famous local shop in San Gabriel (Owned by a basketball star)made the orignal box. It was a pile of *****! They used 1" mdf w/ screws and some silicon. The box fell apart with the pressure.
