i found the prefect hammere plastic paint to match my beazel, and becuase it's hammered it matches the surface of the dash, the downside tho is that it's too shiny, is there a way to make the paint shine less? like sand it or something

if you sand it, more than likely you'll take some of the plastic with it, making it look bad, or the wrong color
hit it with a coat of matte clear coat?

having worked with the hammertone finishes alot, you will ruin the hammered appearance with sanding it.
i have successfully transformed the extremely glossy hammertone to a matte finish with some spray clear in matte. they sell this at home depot and lowes for sure, maybe auto supply places as well.
i'll try the matte, i don't wan't to ruin the hammered finish, well see how it comes out
