Sweet Writeup. My workmate drives an Altima and I've been trying to convince him to go the carpc route... he's drooling over your fabrication here. We just might have a new recruit

Really amazing fabrication. I am currently going through the planning stages of my fabrication and i can only hope to have something close to yours. Would love to see the finished product.

excellent writeup. the pictures really help out alot. i was wondering, this wouldnt be the route to take if you had alot of cutting you had to do with your dash. this is more of a route to take if you had an opening thats bigger than the lcd right?

Fantastic write-up, one of the best, if not the best, I've read so far.

    FINAL PICTURES UP!!!! (mostly)

this method with the mould & keeping the piece seperate is really only an advantage to save the factory finish.... had this opening been cut, or the bezel was to be refinished anyway, then everything would be just about the same, but I would bond directly to the bezel instead of using the tin foil.... most of what I've done here is the same as if it was a permanent part of the bezel....

    enjoy

How did you attach your bezel to the factory bezel?
